Application/DB Design
I have developed many bespoke Client/Server Applications in Microsoft Access. Usually using the Jet Database but I have also ported Access to MS SqlServer as well as the Informix Database.
Here are some of the applications:
LINS (Local INventory System)
Used by Bristow Helicopters to keep track of stock at their many overseas bases, the information is passed back to the UK for requisitioning and stock replenishment. Installed in Australia, China, Falkland Islands, Nigeria, Norway and Trinidad.
Telesales
Used by an equipment finance company, this system provides CRM facilities linked to a call logging and scheduling section and also records of all the financial details for deals made.
Memberships
Designed for Painshill Park, this system records members, produces bar coded membership cards and scans membership cards at the point of sale, validating the membership, recording visitor statistics and producing reports.
